AdvicePay Fees

Transaction Fees

AdvicePay's ACH fees are 1.5% and credit card fees are 3.5% + $0.30/transaction.

For ACP and XY Planning Network members, fees are reduced to 1% for ACH and 2.9% + $0.30/transaction for credit cards.

Foreign transaction fees for credit cards will incur an additional 1% in addition to your transaction fee.

For our Enterprise users, discounted transaction fees are available based on volume.

Advisor Fees

The ability to add additional advisors is available on Professional and Enterprise plans.

On our Professional plan, each additional advisor costs $50/month. (Except No Login advisors -- they're always free!)

If you add or remove users during any month, we'll prorate your payments on your next invoice.

Please visit Firm Settings > Billing to see current and upcoming charges. We'll also email your invoice receipt with a complete breakdown of your bill each month.

Heads up: XY Planning Network advisors receiving a referral discount are charged for additional advisors at the normal $50/month rate. That said, if you're adding another XY Planning Network member advisor to your account, their referral discount can be applied to your billing!

Please email us at support@advicepay.com immediately prior to or at the time they are added so that our team can help adjust your fees. (Their member discount is not automatically applied.) We'll need the member’s name and email for verification purposes. 😀

Failed ACH Payment

A payment that fails on ACH is assessed a $4 return fee.

This fee goes to Stripe, our underlying payment processor, and is part of their standard transaction settings; this means that we're unable to manage or refund them on our end.

Dispute Fee

If your client  disputes a payment there is a $15 dispute fee charged by their card issuer. If the dispute is made on a credit card and you win the dispute, the $15 fee is reimbursed.

If you have questions about the above fees, please don't hesitate to reach out to our team at support@advicepay.com for more information -- we're happy to help!
