Zapier

Zapier is a web-based automation tool used to connect thousands of popular apps so they can share data and perform actions automatically. These automations/connections are called “Zaps.” It can be used to easily automate and streamline workflows without coding, such as the creation of client accounts, invoices, and subscriptions in AdvicePay based on an action that takes place in another application.

Currently, AdvicePay’s Zapier integration is private, which means you can only gain access to build with AdvicePay automations in Zapier. Once you’ve accepted the invite to the private integration, you will have access to AdvicePay’s automations in your Zapier account.

Connecting Zapier

1) First, ensure you have an existing Zapier account established before clicking the Connect in AdvicePay. Zapier offers several account types, including a free version.

2) To connect to Zapier, head over to your Account Settings, Authorized Integrations, and click connect button to the right of the Zapier Integration.

Once you’ve accepted the invite to the private integration, you will have access to AdvicePay’s automations in your Zapier account.

From the next page, you can create your workflow and zaps (actions and triggers) from within Zapier!

Some actions/triggers for this integration that you'll see when setting up your workflow are below. These, along with any expansions of actions and triggers, will show in Zapier in your workflow options. (This is not an exhaustive list), But they are available currently:

Disconnecting Zapier

1). To disconnect Zapier from your AdvicePay account, go to your Zapier account, navigate to the "App Connections" section in the left sidebar.

2). Next, locate the specific account you want to disconnect and click on the Disconnect or Delete option associated with that account. This will remove AdvicePay linked to Zapier.
